Hopefully the Last Cold Pre-Spring Day.....

Today it is not going to get over 20 degrees, but  by Tuesday it is suppose to be in the 60's. I am going to try and finish out some inside projects. Number one is finishing the touch up painting on the "Boy Cave" in the basement.  This is a fun playroom for my precious 2 and 3 year old grandbabies.

This room was a Man Cave in the early 1900's.  It has a large fireplace and log cabin walls. Rumor has it that this was where the men where banished to smoke their cigars and play pool. I have used a great cement product on the floor "Roll A Rock" and then painted and repaired all the log walls. The chalk board is just a plywood board painted with chalk paint. The very popular Brio Train is set up on the mats as well. When the boys are here..guess  where we are.

There is even a working bathroom so it is great for "potty training days".

So on to the next project!!
